Clem, the leader of Linux Mint today announced Cinnamon 2.6. The latest version of the Cinnamon desktop environment brings many great features as well as performance tuning and improvements in the look & feel.

Cinnamon 2.6 will be available in Linux Mint 17.2 (coming at the end of June), but it’s already available in Linux Mint 17.1 if you enable the “romeo” (unstable) repository.
