Evolve OS is a Linux distribution built from scratch, using a forked version of the PiSi package manager. It incorporates a new desktop environment known as Budgie, aimed at desktop users. The Beta version features a new Software Center application what makes it easy to update and install new software. The current Budgie desktop is is now built upon the GNOME 3.14.2 stack.
