Linus Torvalds: Linux 3.17-rc1

Linus announced the availability of Linux kernel 3.17-rc1, one day earlier than planned (due to him being on a plane at 17th August when it was supposed to be released).

Debian Linux became 21 years old

At 16th August Debian was celebrating it’s 21st birthday. Happy birthday! 🙂

Mageia 5 alpha 2 released

The developers of Mageia Linux has announced the availability of Mageia 5 alpha 2. This release is featuring Linux kernel 3.15.6, X.Org 1.16, Mesa 10.2.5.

Viber for Linux updated

The popular Viber app updated it’s Linux client. Finally it has the same features as the Windows version.
